Things you need to consider
Draw attention to your skills and talents each individual in the work place has worked to develop in the past few months, or year. (Mention skills such as typing faster, making the deadline, getting the right key note to a presentation , playing an instrument on a work fair , or cooking something nice for the peers .)
Discuss as a group the good feeling that can come while working to accomplish a chore or a job and the satisfaction that comes when that job is completed. Point out that this satisfaction is part of the reward.
Would there be growth if we were rewarded first?
Read the following from Ether 12:6: “Dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith.”
One hard truth to swallow is the fact that there are no hard and set rules for SO many things in life. For example: Building your own business. You can follow all the how-to guides out there, buy all the courses, read all the books, and you still might end up watching your hard work crash and burn.
BUT if you’re willing to go the extra mile and do the work that 99.999999% of people aren’t willing to do, you’re going to receive disproportionate rewards for it.
